DRIVE FORMATTING & OS INSTALL

Before we format your Mac

Option 1: Simple Format (All Data will be Lost!!!)
Wiping of the drive and fresh installation of the operating system (updated to the
latest version).

Pricing (No data saved):
Standard Machines: 65€
T2 Machines: 105€

Option 2: Format with Data (Accessible Data is Preserved)

All data in the home folder will be temporarily stored and returned after the drive is formatted.

Pricing (with data transfer):
Standard Machines: 85€
T2 Machines: 125€

Important notes

Your personal settings, iCloud, Notes, Calendar, email, etc., remain your responsibility. We do not manage or configure these for you. If iCloud is enabled, you must disable “Find My Mac” on T2 machines before service. We will not use or manage your Apple ID under any circumstances. We recommend syncing Contacts, Calendar, email, etc., with iCloud before formatting the drive.

Third-party software installation is not included in our quoted prices. We do not provide tutorials or training on computer use. For learning resources, please seek alternative services. Data Storage and Handling: We can store your data for approximately one week in case of discrepancies. Please note that some data may be corrupted and unable to be transferred. Should this occur, we will contact you to discuss options. For any additional questions or clarifications, feel free to reach out.

Important service Terms

We do not work for free. If we are unable to repair your logic board and you decline a replacement, a diagnostic and labor fee will still apply for the time invested in attempting the repair.

Many issues are progressive.
If your Mac exhibits clear problems when you drop it off (the reason you brought it in), those issues can worsen—potentially leading to a non-starting system. This progression can occur whether the machine is in our care or still in your possession.

We are not responsible for your data. If your data is important, it is your responsibility to back it up before leaving the Mac with us. We make no guarantees regarding data preservation.

Data recovery is a priority—but not guaranteed. If your Mac does not power on, we will prioritize data recovery if we are able to get the logic board running (unless otherwise agreed). Once data is secured, we will continue with repair and stability testing.

If these terms are unacceptable, we encourage you to seek service elsewhere. These policies are in place to ensure transparency and protect both parties.
